Path
Daniel Bustos Quijada participates and collaborates in litigation in civil and commercial matters, arbitrations in national courts and CAM Santiago, as well as administrative and judicial proceedings against State Administration Bodies.
He has participated in important arbitration, administrative and judicial proceedings including, among others, the following:
• Judicial proceeding regarding contractual civil liability whereby a breach of the public works concession contract was discussed, for USD 1.5 million.
• Arbitration proceeding for dissolution of a closely held corporation and compensation for damages between a Chilean company and a foreign company, for USD 6 million.
• Judicial proceeding on unfair competition where rules related to advertising on products and the use of registered trademarks were discussed.
He is a lawyer from Universidad de Chile. He holds a Diploma in Consumer Law and Bankruptcy Law from Universidad de Chile, and a Master's Degree in Law from the same University, with major in Private Law, graduated with honors.
He has been an assistant professor of the Pro-Bono Legal Assistance Department at the Faculty of Law of Universidad de Chile since 2016 and a volunteer lawyer at the SOS Legal Foundation since 2023.
