Viviana Tarazona Castro focuses on solving tax queries, preparation of Executive Reports on tax issues, review and analysis of information and/or various documentation for the preparation of tax-related Due Diligence processes, as well as advice and during judicial processes in tax matters, contentious and non-contentious tax procedures before SUNAT and the Tax Court with main impact on Tax Audits.
She has more than nine years of professional experience in consulting on complex Tax Law issues, as well as the attention and support of inspection procedures given by municipal entities, tax administration services and the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (SUNAT) of Peru. She has participated in administrative tax litigation proceedings and tax court proceedings, as well as in the review of information for the preparation of Due Diligence reports, on possible tax contingencies.
Viviana is a lawyer from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. She holds a Master's Degree in Taxation and Fiscal Policy from Universidad de Lima. She has completed several training and refresher courses in Tax Law. She is a member of the Lima Bar Association.
She was an Adjunct Professor in the mandatory course of "Tax Law II", at Universidad Mayor de San Marcos during the academic year 2020 and Adjunct Professor in the elective specialization course "Auditing and Tax Procedures", at the same University from 2015 to 2019.
