Path
Nicolás Albornoz Carranza advises national and international clients in the audiovisual and advertising sectors on contractual matters, production clearance, artistic review, and, generally, intellectual property applied to the entertainment industry. Furthermore, he assists clients in negotiating technology contracts and implementing data protection programs.
He has advised national and international clients on legal matters related to the creative industries and entertainment law, on emerging and innovative uses of technology and data, and on regulatory and transactional telecommunications issues.
He holds a degree in Law and Philosophy from Universidad de los Andes. During his undergraduate studies, he served as a course assistant for Legal Institutions History, Declaratory, Enforcement, and Arbitration Proceedings, and Copyright Law. He was part of the Environmental and Public Health Clinic as a Research Assistant and as a Student Researcher. Additionally, he was a member of the Human Rights and Climate Change research group and served on the Editorial Board of the Law School’s student newspaper, Al Derecho.
