Mauricio Rueda Gómez is a consulting lawyer and legal advisor, specialized in legal representation, consulting and legal advice on environmental and social issues and other related areas such as business management, land use planning and basic sanitation. He has more than twenty years of experience advising important companies and public and private entities.

He has a law degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia and a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

He has been Professor of the Environmental Legislation, Waste and Dumping Legal Regime, Environmental Sanctioning Regime, Environmental Liability of the Company and Legal Regime of Air in the Specialization in Environmental Law of the Universidad del Rosario and has important publications on Environmental Law.
